A.) Invited 3 artists will add an additional layer of interpretation to the art pieces:

Procedure >

Starting point: monochrome canvases.
1. > The first invited artist will add a message to the monochrome art piece;
> thus a different art piece will be produced (first artwork); 
> the changes will be documented;
 

 

2. >  The second artist who is a member of a different culture will also add his/her message, applying the same technique, to the art piece in another part of the world;
> thus a different art piece, the second one, will be produced; 
> the changes will also be documented;

3. >  The third artist who is a member of a third culture will also add his/her message to the monochrome art piece;
> thus a different art piece, the third one, will be produced;
> the changes will also be documented;

4. >>> Those art pieces and the documentation will be exhibited; the documentation will show the fleeting between-states of the artworks, which thus both will exist and will not exist.

The mechanism:

The concept will address the issues surrounding change, the course of the world, impermanence, transitional state, visible and invisible values. Could a non-existent have value? May a non-existent exist? The present is losing itself in the future. Which one exists?
